POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform AgDirect retail installment contract, loan and lease application entry and document preparation throughout the AgDirect process. Provide support to the entire AgDirect team and dealer network in preparation of finance packages Ensure consistent high quality service that is timely, thorough, and responsive to dealers, while exceeding their expectations. Work in a team environment to accomplish team goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

1. Responsible for gathering, organizing and verifying, financial and customer information for retail installment contract, loan and lease applications ensuring proper documentation is obtained in order to comply with company policies, regulations and procedures.

a. Ensure application accuracy and integrity of data needed to make sound credit decisions, while meeting established AgDirect timelines

b. Utilize in-depth knowledge and experience with the company’s online application entry system, credit processes/procedures, legal & eligibility requirements, and technology applications. Research questions and requests and provide an understandable and timely response.

c. Prepare retail installment contracts, loan and lease closing documents utilizing FCSA software and CoBank Leasing software including the preparation of additional complex documents necessary for lien perfection

2. Maintain a thorough understanding of lease products including standard residuals, buyout options, and sales tax implications.

3. Directly responsible for reviewing all document packages prior to distribution to the dealer/customer/retail office to ensure the information is correct and accurate.

4. Prepare Territorial Concurrence notifications to be sent to Farm Credit Associations based on the customers location and association requirements

5. Perform Lien searches by accessing SOS sites and CT Lien Solutions. Notate and save the appropriate findings.

6. Monitor AgDirect In-box. Distribute incoming faxes to appropriate channels.

7. Monitor ADA compliance work area. Prepare and send approval and adverse action letters within the regulatory timeline.

8. Establish and maintain continual process improvements to increase the effectiveness and functionality of the AgDirect system. Help to prioritize, and implement recommended enhancements, changes and upgrades.

9. Establish, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships by providing a consistent quality level of service that is timely, thorough, and responsive to the needs of the dealer/customer. This includes written correspondence and electronic communication with teammates. The individual takes ownership of the problem until resolved to the customer's satisfaction, which may include involving other team members.

10. Provide support and other functional responsibilities as assigned to enhance team results and goals.

11. Work together with other team members to prioritize and accomplish the goals of the AgDirect Team.

12. Perform other related duties as assigned and participates in an attitude of teamwork within the company

Grade Level 17: Incumbents will perform the above job requirement as well have the skills and knowledge to perform the following:

13. Subject matter expert â€" ability to answer all questions as they relate to eligibility requirements and legal document preparation

14. Provide support for the business owner of AgDirect On Line and AgDirect Agrilytics and assistance in the development and execution of user acceptance testing cases. Recommend process and procedural improvements.

15. Provide process and document quality control to ensure the level of accuracy and legal detail that meets specific requirements to ensure superior credit quality and collateral perfection

16. Coordinate training for new processing employees, as well as on-going training to meet the needs of software enhancements.

17. Provide back up support for specialized job roles

Additional functions of the position may include:
1. Performs other related duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Level 16: Two year college degree preferred and/or a combination of specialized training and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job function. One to three years related experience in a commercial lending environment. Experience and/ or understanding of agriculture preferred.

Level 17: Two year college degree preferred and/or a combination of specialized training and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job function. Three to seven years related experience in a commercial lending environment.

Duties require:

  • A broad working knowledge of Farm Credit Services of America processes.
  • Fundamental understanding and working knowledge of credit extension and administration processes.
  • Exceptional customer service skills ensuring work is accurate and to customers’ satisfaction/understanding.
  • In-depth knowledge of AgDirect financing options, terms, pricing and special programs to meet customer & dealer needs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Basic knowledge of financial principles and their application to credit delivery.
  • Ability to appropriately handle highly confidential materials.
  • Ability to complete work in an acceptable timeframe to meet customer and dealer needs while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail required by company standards.
  • Strong human relations, written and oral skills.
  • Effective conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to initiate, organize and prioritize work.
  • Knowledge of Association credit policies, procedures, standards and guidelines required.
  • Ability to use loan and lease origination systems, the accounting system, computer systems and software applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and effectively demonstrate team building attitude and skills.
  • Proficient in Windows environment.
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACTS:
Minimal contact with external customers/dealer representatives; moderate to high contact with internal teammates, AgDirect Relationship Officers, Marketplace team members and employees.

  • Ability to complete work in acceptable timeframe and manage a variety of detailed tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and with accuracy to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives and satisfy internal and external customer needs related to the job.
  • Ability to participate in telephone conversations to serve customers and to give and receive information from staff, vendors, outside consultants and the public.
  • Ability to move about the office with occasional reaching and bending.
  • Ability to operate a telephone; fax machine, calculator and a computer proficiently.
  • Ability to reason, judge, compare, calculate, evaluate, decide, and critique such information as written material, numerical data, respond to customer needs and/or other related work activities.
  • Ability to successfully interact with and represent the organization to staff, officers, board members, customers, industry specialists, and the public at all levels.
  • Ability to travel by auto or commercial transportation as needed to carry out essential job responsibilities.
  • Ability to understand and explain various subject matter and consult on concepts, programs, terminology and methods.
  • Ability to use computer. This involves reading the screen and keying/typing information and ability to use and understand various computer software related to carrying out essential responsibilities of the position.
  • Ability to work some irregular hours.
  • Proficient in Windows environment using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer.
  • Ability to provide sound technical advice to clients and potential clients in the subject field(s) related to this position.
  • Understands and explains various subject matter, programs, terminology, and methods.
