Work with lawyers in the Legal Department and internal business clients to prepare, review, revise, and negotiate contracts on a variety of subject matters, including, but not limited to, confidentiality agreemen! ts, services agreements, independent contractor agreements, customer sales agreements, contract manufacturing agreements, trademark licenses and renewals and extensions of such agreements. Primary/immediate focus of position on Customer agreements in the Private Brands portfolio.
Work with lawyers in the Legal Department to coordinate review of contracts by outside counsel, as necessary
Analyze contracts and develop practical summaries of contractual requirements for internal business awareness and compliance purposes
Communicate regularly on the status of contracts with lawyers in the Legal Department and directly with business contacts
Assist in the development of, and ongoing revisions to a contract review process and template agreements
Assist in training of internal clients on legal contract process, procedures and templates
Assist with the maintenance and administration of the Company’s computerized contract management systems
Conduct ! research as needed and create and maintain required files
! Interface with outside counsel and internal business clients as directed by lawyers in the Legal Department
