Design, develop, and maintain the corporate ! data, enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence solutions within Farm Credit Services of America. Deliver timely, accurate and actionable data critical to the business decision-making process. Facilitate the identification, analysis, development, manipulation and reporting of company data and information to gain knowledge of the factors that affect overall company performance. Provide continuous improvement efforts to enhance data transformation and manipulation performance while providing increased functionality and support to production information systems based on the business needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
Levels 24 & 25:
1. Work in a highly collaborative team environment following the Agile methodology to assist other department personnel in the successful accomplishment of strategic and divisional ob! jectives. Take the necessary steps to ensure our customers' ne! eds are met to the maximum extent possible in an accurate and timely manner. Lead and collaborate in the data management efforts including operational data support to provide a high level of data integrity, security and availability for internal and external customers.
2. Establish and maintain a scalable, extensible and maintainable architecture for the enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence system. Summarize enterprise data into an intuitive analysis framework for understanding the current and future performance of the company. Provide the design, development, testing and maintenance of ETL processes, reporting and dashboards to support Association strategic objectives.
3. Collaborate with Risk Management and other business unit leaders for various projects involving enterprise data. Ensure the appropriate capture and retention of enterprise data. Work with Business Analysts to translate various business needs into warehousing, analytics, re! porting, and dash-boarding requirements. Educate other business units and Information Technology teams about the analytics and reporting advantages available to them through Business Intelligence.
4. Provide expertise to achieve system integration through database design, including data and dimensional modeling, logical and physical table design, complex queries, stored procedures and triggers, data transformation, aggregation and enterprise application integration. Level 25: Develop and implement data warehouse and business intelligence standards and best practices. Mentor, support and provide direction to lesser experienced teammates.
5. Level 25 Support the analytical needs of business units by researching and analyzing data from various sources, and incorporate data into existing processes and systems as needed by using expert level understanding of how data, technology and credit processes work together to serve our customers.
6. Conduct anal! ysis on datasets, including efficient extraction, manipulation, and ana! lysis of complex datasets. Analyze data and information in innovative ways to assist with strategic decisions, balance portfolio risk, and optimize process efficiencies. Ensure all necessary data elements are available for model building and strategy analysis.
7. Research emerging technologies, trends and benchmark data to make recommendations to improve customer experience, architecture, processes and tools.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Finance or equivalent training and experience required.
Level 24: Ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in data warehouse and/or business intelligence development, or comparable IT field.
Duties require:
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in data manipulation and reporting to! ols which may include: SSMS, TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Excel, SAS
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and effectively demonstrate team building attitude and skills
- Basic knowledge of database design and data warehouse development including replication, staging, ETL, stored procedures, triggers, scheduling tools and data marts
- Familiar with a variety of industry standards regarding Microsoft database development concepts, best practices, and procedures
- Basic analytical, data mining, data modeling and data management skills, and ability to utilize data to drive strategic business decisions
- Proficient in the latest Windows environment using the most recent versions of Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Database and report development experience with Visual Studio, Excel Services, PerformancePoint, PowerView and ER/Studio a plus
- Ability to provide sound technical a! dvice to leadership and other staff in the subject field(s) related to ! this position
- Willing to be flexible and perform a variety of roles such as analyst, tester, and mentor
- Experienced with providing users access to data by building reports and queries using various data querying tools
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, relationship and project management skills
- Ability to analyze, evaluate, and develop solutions to complex problems

- High level of proficiency with database and data warehouse development including replication, staging, ETL, stored procedures, partitioning, change data capture, triggers, scheduling tools, cubes and data marts
- Experience with a variety of industry standards regarding Microsoft database development concepts, best practices, and procedures
- Strong analytical, data mining, data modeling and data management skills, and ability to utilize data to drive strategic business decisions
- Proficient in the latest Windows environment using the most recent versions of Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Database and report development experience with Visual Studio, Excel Services, PerformancePoint, Powe! rView and ER/Studio.
- Experience providing sound technical advi! ce to leadership and other staff in the subject field(s) related to this position

Levels 24 and 25: All levels of Association staff, internal legal counsel, external vendors, state and federal agencies, FCA, FCC, other Farm Credit Associations and Banks, and commercial lenders.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
