Location: Omaha Nebraska

Lutz is curr! ently seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and q! ualify new client opportunities for all practice segments and industries of the firm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with partner in charge of marketing and business development to identify specific target opportunities
  • Monitor and report on all lead generation programs
  • Participate in sales and proposal processes as needed
  • Create/produce/maintain pipeline reports including responsible parties
  • Facilitate business development meetings with partner/manager group
  • Contribute thought leadership to business development in the form of tools, resources and processes
  • Enhance cross-selling with existing clients
Education and Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other related field required
  • Seven (7) or more years of business development and/or marketing experience in accounting, financial consulting, business advisory! services and/or banking industries
  • Proven track record of developing business relationships with executives (CEOs, CFOs, Board of Directors, etc) and referral sources (attorneys, bankers, etc.)
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to understand and communicate Lutz’s business, marketplace and value proposition
  • Ability to work independently with high motivation
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge in the development, management and execution of sales and marketing processes including marketing and BD planning, lead generation, pipeline management, account planning, sales strategy and development
  • Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change
  • Knowledge of contact management software including updating, maintenance and list generation
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven ability to! work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple p! rojects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills
