Our client is currently seeking 2 experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisors to o! versee a team of Claims Adjusters. Candidates best suited for this job would be responsible and energetic individuals who have shown great leadership qualities. As a Claims Supervisor, you would train and mentor staff, confirm coverage and policy information, and answer correspondence and inquiries promptly. You would also be responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
In this position, you will supervise a variety of level of adjusters both in South Sioux City, NE and in Knoxville, TN
This includes: file reviews and audits, mentoring and training employees, coordinating workloads, troubleshooting problems, assisting adjusters in developing proactive strategies
Minimum 7 years experience in workers compensation claims
Must have Bachelors Degree
Some travel required, go to new accounts and familiarize them with reporting and system procedures Preferred Qualifications:
Previous s! upervisory experience preferred
Prefer knowledge of multip! le states’ workers’ compensation laws **Great Benefits Package**

Job Responsibilities :
As a Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor, you will manage complex account assignments and handle customer service issues, provide direct support to management, establish proper loss reserve and negotiate settlements.
Additional responsibilities for the Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor include:
Confirm coverage and policy information
Maintain control of outside vendors and attorneys
Pursue Workers’ Compensation liens and subrogation
Lead and coordinate special projects
Job Requirements:
As a Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor, you must be knowledgeable, capable of performing clerical tasks, and be able to handle a diverse workload.
Additional requirements of the Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor include:
5+ years ! of Workers’ Compensation claims handling experience
2 + years of experience in a Claims Supervisory role
Good technical knowledge of claims management
Possess leadership, management, and motivational expertise
Exceptional analytical and interpretive skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal capabilities
Ability to work in a team environment
