An Omaha-based law firm with an impeccable national reputation and strong local roots has an immediate need for an experienced pub! lic finance attorney.
Job Description
Candidates should have excellent academic credentials and experience in public finance transactions and related securities law matters. This is an excellent opportunity with a growing firm and strong practice group. The public finance legal team has been serving its customers for approximately 65 years. The firm has been in business for 140 years, with more than 80 attorneys to provide the resources, stability, and expertise of a full-service firm.
Qualifications
Mandatory minimum qualifications - Public Finance Attorney Requirements: - Minimum of eight years of experience dealing directly with public finance and related securities law matters strongly preferred - Working knowledge of federal tax law Sec. 103 - 140 / 150 strongly preferred - Working knowledge of federal securities laws strongly preferred - Working knowledge of Nebraska state municipal laws preferred, but not required - J.D. law degree from! accredited school required; law degree from an elite, well-kn! own law school strongly preferred - A proven track record working within a diverse legal team to accomplish client and firm goals required
