Position Summary:
Allstate Financial is a retirement savings and life division of The Allstate Corporation. Allstate is a place of advanced technology, innovative products, and unlimited opportunity.

The Application Developer will support Allstate Financial Technology, Life Administration.
This area is responsible for the life policy administration system, which supports the issuan! ce and in-force processing of life insurance policies.
Task Assignments may include:
Analyze and review business, functional, and technical requirements.
Design detailed technical design documents.
Develop code according to specifications and standards.
Participate in design and code reviews.
Prepare test data.
Plan and conduct basic unit or module testing.
Support quality assurance testing and defect resolution.
Prepare and package production-ready code modules for staging.
Communicate effectively with peers, business analysts, project managers, quality control, and across other technology team boundaries
Participate in project team meetings.
Report project status as required.
Follow documentation and development standards.
Qualifications
Minim! um qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
·
3-5 years of development experience
Required Technical Skills/Training:
Middleware and User Interface (UI) development
OO (Object Oriented) methodologies / UML
Java development experience
Unix
WSAD (WebSphere Application Developer) or RAD (Rational Application Developer) or Eclipse is a PLUS
Experience with Cyberlife is a PLUS
