OFFWIRE is seeking a Part-Time Paralegal whom will assist will all contract administration including but not limited to reviewing, drafting, and summarizing materials. This position will act as a liaison with outside counsel in or! der to ensure compliance along with identifying any potential areas of vulnerability or risk. This position will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (other duties may be assigned)
Assist with contract administration
Review, draft, and summarize contracts and report to Executive Team
Assist in maintaining business books and records
Provide ongoing reports of examinations and audits
Identify potential areas of vulnerability and risk in order to implement corrective asking plans
Coordinate with client staff and outside counsel
Act as a liaison between business and corporate attorney
Research legal issues and collaborate with other departments
Support Chief Operating Officer in all other duties assigned
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS POSITION WILL POSSESS
Associates Degree and Paralegal Certificate required, Bachelor! Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Experience working directly with clients and external parties
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience as a paralegal in corporate environment preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
