Tasks A successful candidate is a self-starter who requires little supervision and has the ability to ha! ndle competing time demands. Specific duties include:

- Work with District Attorney in claim preparation including locating and gathering documents and evidence, ensuring proper document hold notices are issued, modified and released, as appropriate, creating investigation reports, and organizing documents.
- Conduct legal research, analyzing issues and drafting legal research memos.
- Handle aspects of the discovery process, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, analysis, review and production of paper and electronically stored documents and information.
- Assist with case and claim settlements, including gathering and organizing data and information needed for settlement.
- Working with Project personnel in negotiating the terms of various contracts including subcontracts and material contracts
- Prepare correspondence
- Organize travel and calendar for District Attorney and others as needed
- Able to work effectively with people at all levels both within and outside of the company
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and able to exercise good judgment
- Knowledge of the electronic discovery process
- 7+ years of relevant experience in a law-firm or in-house environment
