Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Description: Jackson Lewis, LLP is currently seeking to employ Mid-Level Employment Litigation & Labor Associate right now, this occupation will be presented in Nebraska. With 54 offices and over 740 attorneys, Jackson Lewis is seeking an Employment Litigation & Labor Associate for the Omaha office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will handle and manage defense of agency charges of discrimination, lawsuits involving a broad range of employment related claims and advice and counseling involving similar issues
• Advise and train employers on a wide range of employment laws and regulations, including anti-discrimination laws
• Daily advice and counsel to clients regarding various employment and labor law issues
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in a broad range of employment matters, including discrimination, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases
• JD from Accredited Law School
• 8+ years of experience
• Significant experience in workplace law and employment litigation defending discrimination charges ! and lawsuits required
• Nebraska Bar Admission
Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
