This job will have the following responsibilities:
Our client is searching for a Maintenance Manager with 5 to 10 years of previous! industrial maintenance management experience, preferably in a food grade manufacturing operation.
The selected candidate must have exceptional project management, analytical and problem solving skills as well as excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
The Maintenance Manager must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
The Maintenance Manager must also be able to write routine reports and correspondence and have the ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for scheduling, supervising and performing maintenance activities on building, grounds and all equipment as needed.
Responsibilities will also include preventive maintenance as well as diagnosing and repairing equipment.
This includes structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, PLC, fabrica! tion and HVAC.
The position will require follow up to! ensure that projects are successfully completed and that an effective preventive maintenance program is maintained.
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for recruiting, directing, coaching and leading all maintenance personnel to constantly raise the standards of performance.
The Maintenance Manager must also maintain awareness of new technology that will improve plant performance and make recommendations for improvement as appropriate.
Salary range for this position is $60K to $70K.
