Regional Fiduciary Manager The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in growing and retaining client relatio! nships by integrating fiduciary/prudent investment principles and knowledge, wealth planning knowledge (trust, taxes, retirement, gifting, business succession planning, estates and wealth transfer strategies), investment acumen and business development. At the regional level, the RFM is accountable for revenue growth, client retention, business economics and risk management (provides fiduciary oversight, reviewing documents, negotiating fees and approving discretionary distributions, assuring proper controls and satisfactory audits) across fiduciary activities. Provides coaching to team members in promoting solutions grounded in the application of fiduciary/prudent investment and wealth planning knowledge, as the foundation for client relationship management and expansion. As the chief advocate of fiduciary services in a market, operating as strategic wholesaler to uncover channel growth opportunities within Wealth, across Wealth, Brokerage and Retirement and company. Will ! be responsible for delivery and fiduciary oversight of advisor! y-based services to clients in collaboration with Wealth Advisors, Investment Managers, Private Bankers, Financial Advisors and Centers of Influence. The role includes a heavy focus on leading team members in new business acquisition, implementing wealth plans, collaborating with Investment and Fiduciary Centers in setting-up and administering Investment and Fiduciary accounts, retaining client relationships, and developing relationships to their fullest potential by cross-selling services of the private bank.
A CTFA, CFP or J.D. designation is preferred. Should have 7+ years of experience in wealth management to include 3+ years experience in investment management, trust or planning, and 3+ years management experience. Must have knowledge in all of the following areas: wealth planning, trust, estate, fiduciary law, taxation and investments. Should have excellent written and oral communication skills and willing to work in a team based environment, strong analytica! l and proactive problem solving skills, organizational skills and ability to make timely decisions in complex situations that demonstrate sound rationale, experience, and judgment.
