Job Summary Manages HR services for assigned groups in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of activities. Provides support and general expertise in all areas of human resources. Partners with management to ensure all human resources needs are met.
Position Responsibilities a Provides leadership and direction for the EBS International payroll team in order to achieve quality service for internal and external customers. a Responsible for ensuring the steps for processing all of the company, and its Operating Groups payrolls are adhered to, including international locations. a Develops and implements a regional or global vendor strategy to support payroll operations in all potential countries. a Supervises and ensures all Operating Groups time and adjustments have been input into the payroll system in an accurate and timely manner, and the resolution of errors as required a Supervises the maintenance of the policy and procedure manuals via knowledge databases, on-line library, and other system capabilities. a Coordinates balances with Operating Groups and maintain within the HRES developed controls a Implement and maintain internal controls that insure integrity of payroll accounts and data. a Identify and implement process improvements in the payroll area focusing on quality improvements, cost reduction, and risk minimization a Effectively manage payroll issues in acquisitions and divestitures a Defines and implements methods for auditing process adherence and communicates findings to the Sr. Director and respective Operating Groups. a Provides day-to-day work direction and supervision of the Payroll Services Team Leads. a Responsible on the delivery and content of training regarding the Payroll Services Team. a Manages special projects related to quality and customer service initiatives. a Responsible for the hiring, discipline, and termination of Payroll Service staff. Direct responsibility for performance development reviews for direct reports. a Communicates and/or reports on service levels on a recurring basis with the Operating Groups a Quarter end and Year end payroll processing including W-2s a Draft and effectively manage the payroll annual budgets. a Coordinate with third party vendors for related payroll services.
a 4-year college level degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems or other applicable field required. Advance degree and/or CPP Certification preferred. a 10+ years experience in Payroll, accounting and budgeting. a Experience in international payroll required. a 5+ yearsa experience with leading teams a Experience in Global PeopleSoft Payroll a plus
a General knowledge of automated systems for measurement and process management. a Strong communication skills. a Strong computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet and database experience. a Planning and Organization a Problem Solving & Decision Making a Communication and Listening Skills a Customer Service Focus
