The Judge Group is working with one of our best clients to help them identify candidates for a Continuous Improvement Leader position. The company is one of the World-Wide leaders in the Medical Device market segment. The company was established over 100 years ago and has enjoyed consistent growth and diversification developing new medical devices and procedures.
The Continuous Improvement Leader will:
** Lead plant activities related to lean manufacturing and Six Sigma ** Work with the plant leadership personnel to develop and implement a strategic plan for continuous improvement ** Support lean manufacturing skills development by managing the continuous improvement function at the plant ** Participate in the development of the corporate lean manufacturing strategy and the education of other lean leaders ** Provide advice and instructions to individual employees, teams, facilitators, area management, and appropriate personnel relating to Cl activities ** Use value stream maps to identify and evaluate the impact of continuous improvement activities ** Drive the development of continuous improvement tools (six sigma, lean, project management. etc.), in order to meet the key plant metrics ** Coordinate training programs to ensure a basic knowledge of Cl for all plant associates ** Tracks Lean and Six Sigma project status and other Cl metrics
Qualified candidates will possess:
** BS or BA Degree required: Engineering or Business focus highly preferred ** At least 3 years experience driving a Lean or Continuous Improvement program in a manufacturing environment, Lean Certification preferred ** At least 3 years experience developing, organizing, implementing. and managing projects/assignments required. ** Six Sigma experience required; Black Belt highly desired ** 2 years experience working in the medical device, pharmaceutical, cosmetic or food manufacturing industry preferred
This opportunity offers a competitive compensation package to include a base salary of $85,000 - $95,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package and full relocation.
