Position Summary

Purina is looking for a dynamic Sales Assistant that is passionate about pets and loves to be in the middle of the sales action.

A day in the life of a Sales Assistant

  • You are the first point of contact for the specialist sales team and support them in various tasks, while building strong bridges with all colleagues
  • You provide daily administrative support to the Field Sales Team and the Key Account Managers & become an expert in data management
  • You are responsible for customer creation & timely update of the data in the specific Sales applications & tools (AFS Visicom, Product Database)
  • You coordinate the monthly promotional planning & mailings
  • You actively participate in various monthly meetings & facilitate the organization of Field Meeting & Customer Meeting on-site
  • You coordinate the timely development of tools & communication to facilitate the introduction for product launches
  • You manage the “specialist mailbox”, dispatching and/or answering customer questions accordingly
  • Because of your expertise, you suggest sales process improvements

What Will Make You Successful

  • You have a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent by experience.
  • You are fluent in French or Dutch with a very good level of the other language. You also have a conversational level of English.
  • You are proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • You can work autonomously, and you have excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • You are customer & commercially oriented
  • You are comfortable juggling with various sources of information, and feel energized by simplifying this towards the team, you are a true multi-tasker
