Bilingual Legal Assistant

We are a small firm in West Omaha focused solely on immigration matters, representing clients across the United States and on five continents around the world. We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish-English) legal assistant to work on a full ti me basis (9 to 5, Monday through Friday), but will also consider a flexible part-time basis for the right candidate.
Duties include:
- Interpreting for consultations and other meetings with clients;
- Assisting attorneys in preparation of immigration forms;
- Communicating with clients via phone, email, and mail;
- Occasionally filling in for secretary as needed;
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Fluency in Spanish and English;
- Ability to interpret between English and Spanish in a consistent and professional manner;
- Ability to multitask;
- Basic Computer skills;
- Some knowledge of the immigration process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of associates degree or higher;
- Prior experience with immigration matters;
- Prior experience in law firm environment.
