Qualifications / Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS: Three years experience as an attorney practicing law including preparing and trying cases, advising clients, and interpreting laws and/or administrative policies and a current License to practice law in the State of Nebraska.
OTHER: Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
Kno! wledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent legal resear! ch and communication skills. Experience in juvenile law and administrative law is preferred. The attorney must have the ability to: interpret and communicate the legal effect of transactional documents; analyze the application of relevant law to specific facts; recognize the impact of developing legislation and case law on the agency and its programs; and interpret complex federal and state constitutional, statutory and regulatory law. The attorney must also be able to provide litigation support to the agency and to the Attorney General's Office in agency cases.
