Tax Analyst, Associate or Senior Associate Property Tax The candidate will oversee the property tax payment process. Will also assume property tax comp! liance responsibilities (e.g. prepare returns, analyze property assessments and appeal property overvalued). Accurately and timely file assigned state and local property tax returns. Timely appeal overvalued property. Protect company assets by utilizing property tax software to accurately and timely pay property taxes. Support other system users by providing instruction in system use, special reports and data analysis. Effectively communicate issues and recommendations.
The candidate should have a Bachelor Degree preferably in Business (specializing in Accounting or Finance). A Juris Doctorate degree preferred. A Master of Business Administration degree preferred. Should be a Certified Public Accountant , Certified Management Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor. Must be licensed to practice law in the state of the work location or licensed to practice law in any state. Should have 2 years of experience in computer applications Strong Microsoft Office Site, kno! wledge of Union Pacific's financial (SAP) and Engineering Syst! ems. Must have 2 years of experience in tax, experience can be a combination of Tax, Finance, Accounting, and / or Audit. Proficiency analytical and problem-solving skills needed.
