Description: Nebraska State Government is currently seeking to employ Assistant Clerk I right now, this position will be settled in Nebraska. Responsible for assisting in a county court, performing clerical duties including courtroom work taking the record on a digital recorder and entering case data.
Examples of Work:
Highly responsible clerical and administrative work, assisting the judges, the public and the Clerk Magistrate. Responsible for the record in the courtroom and entering case data. Supervise and formulate data entry functions, responsible for the court record, assist the public, may prepare reports and compile statistics. Will travel to work in other county courts.
Qualifications / Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS: Experience in office support functions OR college coursework in business classes.
OTHER: Valid driver's license or able to provide independent authorized transportation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of operations of the court, typing and computer skills, ability to become proficient in the Use of JUSTICE (the statewide court computer system.) Ability to learn the digital recording system.
