THE JOB
The Packaging Tech position at Sanctuary Medicinals is best suit for an individual who desires to learn about cannabis and the importance of product quality control and presentation. Focused on assisting the department with proper and accurate packaging of cannabis product into pre-weighed containers, meet daily productivity, quality, and compliance requirements. Accuracy is the key attribute. Previous packaging experience and knowledge of cannabis recommended but not required.
Daily duties include ensuring that all product information is correct, cohesive, compliant, and ensuring the final product is aesthetically accurate to the visionary standards set forth by the company. Employees should possess good verbal and written communication skills, a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. They will need to have the ability to sit, squat, and kneel repetitively throughout a daily workday. Be able to lift 50lbs up a flight of stairs and be capable of performing manual labor tasks as required in a large-scale grow.

*Ensuring compliance with state regulations and company procedures and policies *Upholding strict hygiene and cleanliness standards within the room while maintaining an organized workspace *Quality control of all product being processed *Maintaining a constant attention to detail ensuring all information pertaining to product is correct while affixing product labels and/or storing within packaging. This includes but is not limited to a large emphasis of exact units counts *Execute all work tasks with constant sense of urgency *Must have the ability to adapt to change *Maintain a punctual and accurate attendance *Contribute to a professional and enjoyable work environment *
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements *Demonstrates high attention to detail to increase productivity *
Strong work ethic with team player mentality *Previous Cannabis related experience is a plus but not required *
