Associate Corporate Counsel
Werner Enterprises, one of the largest and most renowned transportation and logistics companies in the country, is seeking an experienced attorney for our Omaha, NE headquarters location.
Responsibilities
This Director-level position will be responsible for the research and analysis of all general legal issues affecting the company in order to provide legal advice and counsel to the company. Includes the drafting of legal documents and representation of the company on general legal matters. Job functions includ! e legal research and analysis of legal issues, drafting and ed! iting legal documents, advising clients on legal issues, and negotiating general representation of the company with third parties.
Juris Doctorate degree and licensed to practice law in Nebraska or ability to obtain such license upon hire
Strong legal education
Good verbal skills
Proficiency in writing
Analytical abilities
Strong communication ability, both written and verbal
