POSITION: Quality Assurance Manager
LOCATION: NorthEastern Nebraska (NE)
SALARY: 50-70k + bonus to 10%
DEGREE: Bachelors minimum, Masters p! referred
EXPERIENCE: 5 years
RELOCATION: Yes, provided
DAIRY MANUFACTURING COMPANY IS IN SEARCH OF A QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER.
This person will need to have had at least 5 years of manufacturing QA Management experience in a food manufacturing facility and previous supervisory experience. Dairy: Milk or Whey experience is required. A Bachelors degree is required; a Masters degree is preferred
Some of the QA Manager's responsibilities will include:
- Implement and monitor the company’s QA Program
- Establish QA specifications for finished products, in process testing and ingredients and ensure that these specifications are met and adhered to
- Establish quality specifications for incoming raw materials with Purchasing & monitoring raw materials to ensure that specifications are met.
- Recruit, direct, coach, lead and supervise all QA personnel
- Establish SOP’s, quality specificati! ons, safety and job expectations.
- Prepare and manage ! laboratory budget.
- Research and provide analytical results on customer complaints in a timely manner. Interact with customers as needed on complaint investigation and resolution.
- Assist operations with establishing procedures and supervising all product and process development and test runs, reporting all results.
- Maintain FDA compliance, Food Safety, HACCP and GMP programs.
- Conduct internal, vendor and contract manufacturing audits as required.
- Maintain and improve all current QA lab data system reports
- Ensure compliance with state, federal and international safety, food safety and regulatory policies and practices
