The Role
As the Legal Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative and legal support to Legal/Compliance team including but not limited to maintaining litigation files and preparation of documents, letters, expense reports, and calendars.
Responsibilities
Administrative Coordination & Support
- Answers and tactfully screens all incoming telephone calls
- Sorts, reviews, and distributes mail & legal referrals
- Manages calendar, schedules meetings and appointments, coordinates travel arrangements, prepares it! ineraries and plan and coordinates special events
- Pro! cesses expense reports
- Types, edits, proof-reads and formats documents, letters, pleadings, and memoranda
- Greets and directs visitors and act as primary resource for internal and external contacts, facilitating a professional image of LFG
- Files and photocopies materials, including establishing and maintaining attorney files
- Processes bills for prompt payment
- Maintains accurate and timely entries in case management software.
- Orders supplies and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs to office equipment.
- Develops working knowledge of Ariba, Document Management System, TeamConnect, and Interwoven and any other systems as they may be implemented
- Organizes and maintain department-wide file structure
- Designs and prepares presentations and reports
- Maintains litigation files including creation, filing, researching and analyzing individual cases
- ! Researches and responds to subpoenas and related requests
- Researches, logs and maintains bankruptcy records
- Assists with report generation and database input
- Works with Business Operations in the application of record management policies, procedures and techniques, including filing systems, and disposition
- Facilitates the company's record retention schedule
- Oversees and performs the preparation, entering, indexing and retrieval and destruction of records and information from computer databases Requirements
Experience 5+ years of experience in administrative support that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding perform! ance expectations Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace dist! ractions Drives performance targets to completion Requisition ID : 13-2054
