We are currently seeking to hire a Distribution Compensation Analyst for the IFS Business Information & Project Management division. The individual filling this position will ensure the effective development, management, research, implementation, conservation and administration of new and existing compensation programs. Monitor multiple distribution compensation systems and programs to achieve effective production and performance objectives consistent with business objectives a! nd unique distribution strategies.
Essential Funct! ions:
Administer & Report on Field Management/Producer Contests
Administer & Report on Field Management/Producer incentives such as trips, etc.
Represent area of various contest committees
Manintain & Monitor reporting for Industry Designations
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Perform preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly,and annual reports including, but not limited to, analysis of reported results for reasonableness, key driver results, ANBP results, NFYC results, and key compensation components.
Proactively identify compensation design issues and collaborate with Sales, Product, BIPM & Legal areas to provide accurate and timely recommendations.
Identify and evaluate alternatives to solve business and systems issues
Coordinate responses to distribution compensation exception requests and handle elevated issues
Work to ensure exception requests are handled consistently and me! et terms of programs and profitability objectives
Research and analyze distribution compensation programs offered by competitors. Recommend and implement changes in current distribution programs to maintain competitive position in the market.
Monitor industry trends and evaluate impact on distribution programs and results.
Provide assistance to the Legal area on informational requests or problem cases involving distribution networks and attorneys contesting compensation related issues.
Maintain compensation, communication and contractual information as well as historical versions to protect the interest in lawsuits related to various distribution contracts and plans.
Knowledgeable of compensation related data and the resources available to efficiently process area tasks.
Utilization of PC based office tools, administrative systems and Web applications.
Develop, maintain and follow administrative procedures to en! sure that terms and provisions of the contract and corporate guidelines! are met..
Ability to look for new and innovative ways to improve processes; inspire others to think of opportunities to better the future; and continuously evaluate current processes for improvement.
- The Distribution Compensation Specialist position may require taking a lead role in many of these essential functions.
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access experience r equired
Knowledge of industry compensation, and distribution types preferred
Ability to build relationships through maintaining network of contacts who are useful in achieving business results

Knowledge of state and federal insurance regulations and company administrative policies and procedures
