The Role
As the Worksite Claims Specialist, you will have the overall responsibility for the fair and timely processing of Worksite (Accident and Critical Illness) Claims. You will be responsible to ensure claims are processed in an ethical manner, ensuring quality claim decisions, benefit payments and delivering a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities
Claims Processing
Evaluates, interprets and makes claim determination of Accident and Critical Illness claims with sound and impartial claim judgments.
Prioritizes and balances claims in an efficient manner while maintaining productivity, quality, and time ser! vice requirements, as outlined by senior management.
Respo! nds to inquires and resolve pertaining to specific claim issues.

Customer Service
Communicates with claimants, policyholders, brokers, attorneys or physicians either orally or written.
Facilitates internal and external customer satisfaction in the resolution of claim-specific issues.

Requirements
Education
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
Experience
1 year Insurance Industry experience
